Antoinette Poisson, put down the roots of her second second workshop in the citadel town of Port-Louis, a city given royal status by Louis XVII. In 1666, the East India Company established itself there and developed the spice trade. It seems obvious that Antoinette Poisson and Confiture Parisienne would partner up once again through a recipe that honors the king of fruits, pineapple and "Kari Gosse" spices, a sweet blend of ginger, turmeric, clove, chilli and cinnamon from the Indies road.
As cake is widely associated with travel as it is easy to transport them without fear of damaging them,
Confiture Parisienne have created a « travel jam » which is delicately placed within a small chest beautifully decorated for this special occasion.
