Bonnecaze Strike Anywhere Matches

"Strike-anywhere" matches are designed to ignite easily and quickly on a variety of surfaces, in contrast to strike-on-box or kitchen matches, which only ignite when struck on their box. These matches strike easily on the ribs located on the match strikes, just like the antique originals from over 100 years ago.

The difference between the strike-anywhere match and the typical kitchen match is the amount of phosphorus in its tip.

Regular household kitchen matches will not light on the match strikes.
